How can I set my delivery zone?
You can define your Delivery area on a map.
Place markers on the page that define the area you support. You can define multiple, noncontiguous areas.
What is RHGuru Online Ordering w/Open Dining integration?
RHGURU is an online ordering platform that allows restaurants to accept web, Facebook and mobile food orders for pickup or delivery. Our software lets you take orders from your existing website, meaning your online traffic is not redirected to an outside food ordering site. Visitors stay on your website to place the order. And your search rankings increase when people find your restaurant, not the outside food ordering site. So you are maximizing the money you spend on advertising as well. Sounds awesome, doesn’t it?
Fact is, the average American spends 32 hours per month on the internet (and nearly 8 hours of that on Facebook)! So, having a strong online presence is needed to build a solid customer base and get repeat customers. This is certainly the trend in food ordering as well. This is why we built the platform.
Studies show that restaurants sell more food, and have bigger ticket orders when offering online ordering, because it becomes a simple click of the button to place an order – no explaining it over the phone and no interrupting the busy restaurant staff. Using our interface, restaurants can build an online menu and be up and ready to accept orders in no time. Restaurants can add menu photos, accept coupons, and connect to their MailChimp or Constant Contact account for email marketing.
The process is simple. Restaurants sign up. Build a menu. Add our menu widget to their website, Facebook page, and mobile site. That’s it (more or less). Sure, we need a few more bits of information, but this about covers it.

What POS systems integrate?
Essentially, when an order is processed thru RHGURU, it is automatically sent to a Point-of-Sale (POS) system and printed on configured ticket printers. Your POS system must be connected to the Internet to receive orders from RHGURU.
We are fully integrated with several POS systems:
- MICROS 3700
- MICROS 9700
Coming Soon: MicroSale, RPower, and SpeedLine.
If your POS system is not on the list, let us know and we will try to add them. There are literally hundreds of them, with many coming out for new technologies such as the iPad. In the interim, you can still receive orders via email, phone or fax, or to any of your network printers via Google Cloud Print or HP ePrint.
How do I receive order Notifications?
You select how to be notified of online food orders from your customers:
- Directly to your Receipt Printer
- Text message
- POS Integration
- Google Cloud Print
- HP ePrint
It doesn’t matter if the order is processed thru your website, your Facebook app, or mobile site, they all get delivered how you specify here. You can also select multiple ways to receive orders (such as via email and text).
If you elect to receive notifications via email, you can list multiple email addresses by separating them with comma, and everyone on the list will be notified when you get orders.
You can send orders directly to your receipt printer as long as it uses the OPOS printer interface.
Some of the great graphics you produced need to be updated. Is this included in the support?
Yes, our ongoing support of your website doesn’t stop just because the site is live. We will continue to help you produce any artwork you might need to make it as good as possible. Large projects or frequent edits may require additional cost. We will always let you know before the work is performed.
Can you help me with website content?
This is a great question. A website is only as good as it’s content. But we have you covered. We have a professional photographer on staff, that will come to your location and shoot product and spot photography. We will use these edited photos, in conjunction with graphic arts produced in house, to make your website really shine.
How will I know what my site will look like before you start?
To keep costs down for you, and to give you a great idea of how your site will look before we get going, we utilize templates made by professional web designers. These give us great flexibility in producing your site, without you having to spend thousands.
What does it cost to start?
Because of the huge amount of work involved with producing a website, we do have some modest upfront charges. Depending on the package you select, this can range from 49.95-99.95. The only other charge will be for the template we use to design your site. These cost $40-70. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee, if you are dissatisfies, we will refund everything except the template purchase. This is your property and you are free to use it however you like.
What happens with my domain? How does it work with your hosting?
There are two ways to make your domain work with us. Since your new website will be hosted in a new location, we will need to direct your domain name to that new spot. We can either transfer the domain to us, which allows you to easily manage it along with your other services, or we can help you point your domain to our servers. It is as easy as updating your Name servers with your domain registrar.
I have already paid 2 years worth of hosting thru another host. Do I have to throw away that money?
Usually no. Most reputable hosting companies will refund the unused portion of your hosting.
What is the best way to get support?
The best way to receive support for our services is by opening a support ticket. This helps us stay organized, and ensures that we answer your questions in a timely manner. Support tickets can be opened once you have logged into your customer portal.
How long am I under contract?
Whenever we work to produce a new website, you agree to pay us for one year. Instead of paying thousands for a custom site, we charge a low monthly fee. Once the year has elapsed, we will continue to host your website month to month.
How much does the website design cost?
Well costs vary, but our best value package is 49.95 per month, with a setup fee of 49.95. There is a one year commitment, after which time the monthly fee is just 29.95, unless you want to continue our website specific support.
Do you provide support after the website is done?
Absolutely. As long as your account is in good standing with us, we will be available for editing and helping you update your site.
